  3.  Happy Hour AFG:

    1. This meeting is open to anyone whose life is or has been affected by a problem drinker and to anyone interested in learning more about the family disease of alcoholism. We believe alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery. Al-Anon has but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics. We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic.

    2. Meetings are based on the Twelve Steps, the Twelve Traditions and Conference Approved Literature—which are used to inspire members to share their experience, strength and hope. A volunteer member chairs the meeting, selects a piece of Al-Anon literature to read, and then opens the meeting up for others to share.
